Lyn Rushton, Au.D. Doctor of Audiology and Tinnitus Treatment expertDr. Lyn Rushton received a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Auburn University in 1982, a Masters of Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia in 1988 and a Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University in 2012.

Dr. Rushton has held a variety of audiology positions in the metro Atlanta area. She has worked with pediatric through geriatric patients, conducted the ABR screenings for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, dispensed hearing aids and conducted vestibular tests and diagnostic ABR. She also worked as a pediatric audiologist and performed threshold ABR’s for infants and children, dispensed hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Dr. Rushton has been the owner of an Industrial Audiology practice and also a consultant for a local school system’s Hearing Impaired program and has supervised Audiologists during their Clinical Fellowship Year.

Dr. Rushton joined Advanced ENT in 2012 and conducts diagnostic audiology evaluations. She has a special interest in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, and has brought that aspect of her practice to our center in 2012.  She has trained extensively at regional and national conferences and is now a regional referral destination for tinnitus sufferers.

Dr. Rushton is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, the American Tinnitus Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.

Dr. Stacy Pickelman received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2006 and her Doctorate of Audiology in 2010 from Central Michigan University. She completed her fellowship at the California Ear Institute in Palo Alto, California.

Dr. Pickelman has held positions in a variety of occupational settings from standalone audiology practices to Ear, Nose, and Throat practices where she has worked with pediatric through geriatric populations. She is very passionate in helping others improve their hearing and balance related concerns and works diligently to obtain the best results for her patients. She is well diverse in many aspects of audiology from diagnostic threshold auditory brainstem testing on infants, amplification needs for patient with hearing loss, and diagnostic vestibular testing and treatment. Dr. Pickelman utilizes state of the art hearing devices and the most current technology.

Dr. Pickelman is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology organizations. She is an active member of the Georgia Academy of Audiology and is the current Annual Convention chair. She is a licensed Audiologist by the state of Georgia.
